Mayrhofen ski stag weekends are awesome fun but it’s always good to get the inside track before you travel.

For snow boarders it’s perfect. With rail parks, plenty of off-piste and few drag lifts.

For food on the slopes our top tip is at the top of the Nordhang Chair called Christa’s Skialm. Our other recommendation is Penken Panorahma restaurant. It’s a cool place in a lovely situation.

So, let’s cut to the chase and look at Mayrhofens legendary après ski. We will start with the White Lounge, which is an Igloo with an outdoor bar area covered with deck chairs. The Ice Bar at hotel Strass is another après must.

If you are pushing on after you’ve eaten then check out Mo’s, Scotland Yard and Piccadilly. For dancing into the wee hours then head to Bruck n Stadl or the Sports Lounge.

Can’t speak higher of this music event. The Snowbombing festival for a stag do is a brilliant choice. Especially for a winter stag do idea. I had no idea of how good this place is, and saw some amazing music acts. The snow was a bit sludgy, so don’t come here for pure skiing motives. If you want to see your favourite international DJ, whilst dancing on the ice, then this bizarre snowfest is just the ticket. The bar crawl was amazing laugh, all in smurf outfits, I will send you a link to our facebook page. People are so laid back there, so added to the good time vibes. If I had to criticize something of the ski stag do at Snow bombing, it would be that the snow is a bit rubbish at this time of year, and the beers are over priced. But no complaints about the overall service from Stag Mania and I would use you chaps again.
