Top tips for après ski in Morzine

BARS, CLUBS & SKI BABES

For apres ski in Morzine then of course you have to check out La Folie Douce. This brand name is now famous in Morzine, Val Thorens, Val D’Isere and Meribel and like its sisters it offers pumping music and good vibes.

For Morzine nightlife then we would recommend checking out the Cavern bar and the Tibetan Café. For the late-night burn then head to Club Opera.

For the best places to eat in Morzine then we would recommend the following. Firstly, try L’Passage. Its unpretentious and offers generous portions. Secondly try Le Colibri, it’s really nice and offers a good selection of international dishes.

If you are a small ski stag party and want to try something different then you could consider eating at Crapahute. It’s not just a catchy name! it’s a s quirky as it sounds. You need to snowshoe up there and take a sled ride back down. Food is great and it’s a lovely novel experience.

Great organisation

Great organisation from booking to departure. Really helpful made my life as best man so much easier. The hotel we stayed in was great, really clean, modern and right in the centre of all the action. My only complaint

My only complaint was the transfer was quite long. I think compared to Slovenia last year [which was only 20 mins] it was quite a difference and ate into the weekend. That being said Morzine was a good ski resort. Sadly, the weather wasn’t great. Very cloudy so didn’t give us chance to ski that far; but I appreciate the weathers out of your control. All the essentials were delivered so fair play.

Great ski break

All the S’sssss. Snow, skiing and ‘sun burn’! Seriously a great ski break. Hassle free and ideal for a group of advanced skiers. France is still a premium ski destination in my eyes. Clement our local rep was terrific. Engaging and extremely knowledgeable. The welcome beers on arrival at our chalet were a classy touch as well.

Top tips

I was a bit worried a ski stag weekend in France would break the bank. Well, I’m pleased to say it dented it but didn’t break it. We managed to get quite cheap flights and your ski break package was good value and for the security it was worth every penny. Thanks to Nick at ski stag mania for all the top tips; they really paid off and praise to Clement our local rep who couldn’t have been more helpful and patient with our group. I imagine he is used to it; but even getting the guys out of the airport and onto the mini-bus was like herding cats. Brilliant stag do though and Morzine worked well for us.
