ONE

BJs bar is one of the best pubs in Borovets and perfect for a ski stag do. Drinks are very reasonable, with happy hours throughout the day and night. Known for the strongest cocktails, the BJs 2-4-1 specials are legendary.

TWO

Whilst partying away in BJs you can try the hammer, nail and tree trunk game. It’s great banter and good for small or large stag parties.

THREE

Up from BJs bar, follow the main high street towards the Rila hotel. Half way up the main thoroughfare look out for the Red Lion Pub on the right side. Inside you’ll find: sky sports, big screens, friendly DJ, good food and fun parties, perfect for ski stag weekends in Bulgaria.

FOUR

Move on up a few doors down and enter Buzz Bar. Although, we prefer coming here after midnight when the parties really start jumping. There are two rooms. You’ll enter a bar area and then in the back a nightclub. Expect cheesy disco music and hen party types.

FIVE

Walking on past the Red Lion, you’ll find a cozy pub called Funkays. The staff are lovely there and we love the food selection and draft beer. It’s a good starting pub, but recommended for groups less than twelve people.

SIX

Hotel RILA is superbly situated and has a lovely sun terrace ideal for kicking back after a good days skiing or boarding. Its also a great place to start off an evening as it has heaters so you can go at any time. There is a nice whisky bar inside too which is always buzzing. Although the inside bar is better for small ski stag do groups; the outside terrace can handle large ski stag parties.

SEVEN

At the top of the main street, you’ll be at a cross roads. Take a right and you’ll see Francos. This is a very lively bar with pumping music. The venue is set on two levels, with live DJs and throws some lively party vibes. This club has been voted most popular for ski stag holidays in Bulgaria and continues to be one of the best in resort.

EIGHT

Close by in the opposite direction is Elenite. It has a Deer beer red neon sign on the outside. Inside you’ll find a cosy pub and restaurant. But also a well-loved karaoke bar. The staff are very nice and it’s a great atmosphere once packed in.

NINE

Walk past the main six man lift towards Black Tiger. This is a bar, restaurant, nightclub, and professional Karaoke venue. They do food, but the drinks are better. A perfect idea for a ski stag do group.

TEN

Walk past the Black tiger towards a very impressive white castle like building. This is hotel Festa Winter Palace. Opposite the reception desk, head downstairs to the night bar for cigars and whiskey. The a la carte restaurant is also worth considering for smaller ski stag do groups.
